Mission

Arts of Tolland (AOT) was founded in 1973 to supplement fine arts programming in the local school system.  Our mission has remained the same, to provide a spectrum of artistic and cultural experiences for people of all ages, races, and ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

History

The building was constructed in 1879 as the Tolland Town Hall.  It served as the Town Hall until 1985.

It was renovated by Arts of Tolland 1995-1997, through volunteer efforts and fundraising events.

Arts Center of Tolland officially opened 1997.

The Jean Small Memorial Founders’ Garden was completed in 2001.

Arts of Tolland, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization.

All members are welcome to attend the AOT Annual Meeting, held each year at the Arts Center on the first Wednesday in June at 7:00 p.m.
